Andrew Stone

Andrew Stone is an organisational strategist and founder of Keystone Leadership Group. Across more than twenty-five years in leadership and advisory roles, he has worked alongside founders, executives and boards on the decisions that shape an organisation’s future — work grounded in a specialist’s understanding of communication and human behaviour.

The frameworks aren’t just theoretical. They’re proprietary, evidence-based, and proven across sectors as varied as construction, tourism, aviation, technology, fitness, education and the not-for-profit world — and with institutions including the Australian Defence Force and Rotary International.

A sought-after speaker, Andrew has presented in boardrooms and auditoriums across Australia, New Zealand, Asia, Canada and the United States, and lectures on leadership and culture at universities and not-for-profit conferences. Wherever he works, the aim is the same: to put clarity and culture at the heart of how organisations lead.

Our History // From Insight to Impact: The Keystone Story

Keystone opened its doors in 2012 — The practice behind it is older still: more than twenty-five years of leading founders, executives and boards through the decisions that decide an organisation’s future, across industries as different as construction, tourism, aviation, technology, fitness, professional services and the not-for-profit world. The frameworks we use today weren’t lifted just from a textbook. We built them, tested them in the field, and refined them through every kind of organisation. When leaders thrive, organisations thrive.

Formally Stone Creative Group, our transition to Keystone marks a refined commitment to empowering leaders and transforming organisations. We bring forward years of experience in facilitating growth, fostering collaboration, communicating with excellence, and driving impactful change. All now distilled into a dedicated focus on the people and strategic elements that truly define an organisation’s future. This evolution allows us to concentrate our energy and expertise where it matters most: helping you lead with clarity, build with intention, and achieve profound transformation.

Every relationship and organisation moves at the speed of trust before talent.

Some of our client relationships are older than most consultancies — fifteen and eighteen years at a time, through founder transitions, generational handovers, government negotiations and global expansion. We’ve worked across five countries and with institutions including the Australian Defence Force and Rotary International. The combined value of the organisations we’re trusted to help lead now exceeds $500 million: a measure of trust, not a trophy.

Our Brands // A Legacy of Leadership

In 2012, Andrew Stone recognised a critical need: a proactive space where leaders could genuinely unite their passion and clarity, both personally and professionally. This vision led to the founding of Stone Creative: Leadership Group.

A dynamic, cross-disciplinary team quickly grew, and over the subsequent years, we became known as Stone Creative Group. Driven by a guiding pursuit of clarity, we delivered holistic business solutions for organisations and their teams. This often involved leveraging both business consulting and creative services to unlock clarity in an organisation's identity–across its business and leadership strategy, and through its visual narrative and expression.

Alongside our combined creative and consultancy services, our commitment to innovative leadership development continued to grow. In 2023, we launched the SCG Leadership Clinic, an unique initiative providing 1-on-1 coaching to individuals outside the ‘traditional’ organisational context. Our team of experienced leadership practitioners, covering various disciplines, are on hand to help anyone seeking to grow professionally and personally. The TLC is ‘designed with the heart of people in mind’ and we are proud to see it grow and impact lives.
